Matilda believes that women’s empowerment is more than just giving women and girls the opportunity to engage in the world, women’s empowerment also means equipping girls with the tools to succeed. Through her work at GGG, Matilda hopes to show how empowered women, empower women. Because when one black girl succeeds, we all succeed, and ultimately our community is richer because of it.
